DEBT RECOVERY

Credit control is vitally important to a business, never more so than in these difficult trading times when late or non-payers can have a particularly damaging effect on a business.

Starting off on the right foot with new credit customers is always a good idea as the information they provide on the credit account application will give an indication of their credit-worthiness. If late payments do become an issue, that information will enable you to pursue the debt promptly and efficiently.

Providing a written copy of your terms of trading at the outset will tell new customers where they stand with you, and circulating existing customers with your terms and conditions by way of a reminder will keep them on their toes.

If you find yourself considering legal steps to recover a debt, we will be happy to talk to you on a no obligation basis about the cost of pursuing a debtor. Many debtors respond immediately to a solicitor's letter and we can send out a standard "seven day letter" for a fixed fee.

We can also draw up Terms and Conditions of Trading to help get your business on an even keel. Ring Phillip Hoskins on 01522 512123 for a fixed fee quote for this work.
